Short Rotation Coppice [Willow] has been grown for
some time in the UK but on a relatively small scale.
SRC has been grown successfully in the UK and is now
being evaluated by the large electricity producers.




Perhaps even more promising because of its rapid growth
is Miscanthus, more commonly known as Elephant Grass.
Manco Energy's own test areas are being used to trial this
crop in East Yorkshire.
